Mystry in the Manor
Dinner Threter & Silent Auction Nov 14, 14, 15, 6:30-11 pm. Enjoy an evening of music, beautifully decorated trees, wreaths, and garlands, and new this year, Mystery in the Manor, a Dinner Theater. Event will be held at the beautiful historic Foy-Munger house, 516 Middle St, Downtown New Bern. $75 per person.
Proceeds from this event will allow the Craven Regional Medical Center Foundation to fund unmet healthcare needs & programs in Craven, Jones and Pamlico counties.

The Christmas Tree Ship
The skipjack Ada Mae will be sailing into the Port of new Bern with a load of fresh cut Christmas trees on Saturday, November 22. Come to "Skipjack Point" on the water at the end of Pollock Street, behind the Galley Stores, at 4 pm to watch Ada Mae sail in.
Ada Mae will be docking at the galley Stores Marina and off loading Christmas trees. The trees are sold as a fund raiser for Carolina Coastal Classrooms Inc, a local non-profit environmental educaiton program. Come out and welcome the ship and this old fashioned tradtion (imported from Chicago) back to the Port of New Bern. The trees will be on sale through the holidays.
The skipjack Ada Mae was built in 1915 at Rose Bay, NC. She is the last example of a commercail working sailing vessel built in NC. Ada Mae was used to dredge for oysters on the Pamlico Sound and coastal rivers of NC from 1915 until 1946. She was also used to haul NC produce and lumber up to Baltimore, MD each summer.
